Adding an icon for you site to your Apple iPhone home page with MyAnswers solution 2011

One of the neat tricks with the Apple iPhone I like to show others is how I can add a custom icon for my site to their Apple iPhone. In the captured image of my iPhone you'll see the icons I've created for a number of my sites. You can find all these sites on JustLocal (http://www.justlocal.com.au/).

Now anyone can easily add one of my sites to their home page. Then my site has an easily recognised icon and they can go straight to my site. Adding a link to a site is easy with the iPhone. Making a custom icon appear on the iPhone is the cream on top.

Imagine you're talking to a client. They have an iPhone and they want to know your business details. I clicked on my VPS member icon, selected The Computer Wholesaler, filled out the information with the business owner and sent the referral on helping The Computer Wholesaler and the business owner.

Now you know you can do it, you can get rid of those boring icons that are automatically created when you add your site to your Apple iPhone. Use an exciting custom icon and leave a professional impression of your business.
