MyAnswers: Microsoft site states Internet Explorer 8 installed but Internet Explorer 6 is.

The following MyAnswers solution 2184 is now available:

Internet Explorer wasn't working properly after repairing a Windows XP computer. The help showed Internet Explorer 6 was installed but when trying to install Internet Explorer 8, the Microsoft side said it was already installed.
